Make Photo Sing AI: Turn Any Picture Into a Singing Video

Add a portrait, then a song: upload your own track, write lyrics, or just describe an idea and we write and sing it for you. The photo comes to life on stage, one lyric line per shot, with your original song audio, name tags and subtitles. Make it solo, or cast a group MV of ancient poets the way the viral 古人开麦 (historical figures singing) videos do.

Make the photo sing

Pick solo or group, add the singer, choose how you get the song, then render the video shot by shot.

How to make a photo sing with AI

Four steps, no editing app.

  1. 1

    Pick solo or a group

Solo: one portrait sings the whole song. Group MV: up to three singers take turns line by line, then everyone sings the chorus together on stage. Our ancient poets (Li Bai, Du Fu, Su Shi) are ready to use for free.

  2. 2

    Add a clear photo

A face looking at the camera with the shoulders in frame works best: a selfie, an old family photo, a painting or a public-domain portrait. For group singers we first turn each photo into a look sheet, so the face stays the same from shot to shot.

  3. 3

    Get the song three ways

Upload a track you have the rights to, write your own lyrics and pick a style, or just type an idea and we write the lyrics too. Song mode makes two takes; listen and keep the one you like. The chorus is found automatically from the timed lyrics.

  4. 4

    Render and download

Each lyric line becomes its own 4–6 second shot, filmed medium close-up from the first frame. When all shots are done, the page stitches them in your browser with your original song, name tags and lyric subtitles. Start with Preview, then remake the same plan in HD.

The 古人开麦 trend: historical figures singing

On October 13, 2026, director 喆FILM (Wang Kunzhe) posted 《过来人》 (The OGs), an AI music video in which Li Bai, Du Fu, Su Shi, Liu Bang and other figures from Chinese history take the mic and sing about life as people who have been through it all. It spread across Douyin and Bilibili within days and kicked off the 古人开麦 (ancients on the mic) format: famous faces from history, one line each, a group chorus at the end.

The creator shared his method on LibTV. This page follows the same craft rules that make those videos work: one whole lyric line per shot, medium close-ups that never zoom in mid-shot, a stand mic at chest height so the mouth stays visible, and every singer on stage from the first frame of the chorus.

Ancient poets, presidents, your family

The format works with anyone who has a face people know: poets and emperors, old presidents (public-domain portraits), the grandparents in an old photo, or your pet.

Your song, not theirs

Use a song you made here or one you have the right to use. We do not copy 《过来人》 or any other song; the example on this page uses our own lyrics.

What it costs

You see the total before you start. A failed shot is refunded.

Make photo sing AI FAQ

How do I make a photo sing with AI?

Add a clear portrait, get a song (upload one, write lyrics, or type an idea), pick a length and press Make. Each lyric line is rendered as its own shot, and the page stitches the shots with your song, name tags and subtitles into one video.

How many credits does it cost?

The song costs 63 credits for two takes (free if you upload your own). Video: 480 / 720 / 1,440 credits for 10 / 15 / 30 s in Preview 480p, or 1,010 / 1,515 / 3,030 in HD 720p. Each own photo in a group adds a 31-credit look sheet. Failed shots are refunded.

Can I make a picture sing with my own song?

Yes. Choose Upload song, pick the part to start from and confirm you have the rights. The final video plays your original audio, not a re-sung version.

I only have an idea. Can AI write the lyrics?

Yes. Choose Just an idea and type a sentence like “three ancient poets complain about modern rent”. The song step writes the lyrics and sings them, for the same price, and you hear two takes.

Does the mouth match the words exactly?

The singer moves with each line and the original song is laid over the shots, so it reads as singing, but this is not frame-accurate lip-sync. Short lines, a clear face and the medium close-up framing give the best result. You can retake any shot.

How do I make historical figures sing like the 过来人 video?

Pick Group MV and use the ancient poets preset (Li Bai, Du Fu, Su Shi), or add your own portraits such as public-domain paintings. Write a verse line for each singer and tag a [Chorus]; the chorus shot puts everyone on stage at once.

Can I make presidents sing?

Historical presidents from public-domain portraits (for example Washington or Lincoln) work well and are fun for school projects or parody. We do not render living politicians or celebrities.

What ratio and length can I get?

9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or 16:9 for YouTube, at 10, 15 or 30 seconds. Every shot is 4–6 seconds, one lyric line each.

Is there a free option?

The ancient poets preset and browser stitching are free; the song and the video shots use credits. New accounts get starter credits, so you can try a Preview first.
