What is Topview T1?
Topview is best known as an AI video ad platform. T1 is its first in-house video model, launched on October 21, 2026. According to Topview's launch page:
- Length: 4, 8, 12, 15 or 30 seconds per generation.
- Resolution: 720p or 1080p.
- Aspect ratios: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 and 21:9.
- Inputs: text, images and multi-reference generation with up to 50 assets, plus audio guidance.
- Language: multilingual dialogue and subtitles.
- Price: 2.2 Topview credits per second at 1080p for every member (list price 2.75). Topview says a 30-second 1080p clip costs $6.60 on T1, against $17.55 for Seedance 2.5, about 62% less.
T1 is only available inside Topview's own app. There is no public API.
What is verified about Topview T1, and what is not
Verified: the release date, the specs and the price, because they come from Topview's own pages and are easy to check in the app.
Not verified yet:
- Quality parity with Seedance 2.5. This is Topview's claim. T1 does not appear on Artificial Analysis or other independent leaderboards yet (isitsota.com also lists it as unranked), so there is no blind comparison.
- The cost comparison. The $17.55 Seedance 2.5 figure is Topview's own calculation; what you pay for Seedance 2.5 depends on where you run it.
- Social proof. Much of the launch-day praise on X comes from sponsored or partner creators. Early independent users also report strict content moderation, with action and fight scenes rejected.
None of this means T1 is weak. It means the evidence today is a demo reel and a price list. Wait for blind rankings before treating it as a Seedance 2.5 replacement.
