--- name: 'short-story-storyboard' description: 'Plan a mini story as numbered shots with a consistent character, then generate it shot by shot.' --- # Short Story Storyboard Breaks a story idea into 3-6 single-shot clips with one locked character and style description, so clips cut together well. ## Use it for - Short films, music videos and story ads - Kids' stories and bedtime tales - Series with a recurring character ## Inputs - Story idea - Optional: number of shots, style, aspect ratio ## Defaults - First reply with a numbered shot list (one line each: shot size, action, camera). Then call `generate_image` for a character reference still, and generate shots one at a time with `generate_video` operation `reference` (or `animate_image` from a still). - Aspect ratio 16:9 unless the user says vertical. ## Prompt recipe Lock two lines and reuse them word for word: Character line `[name]: [age range, face, hair, outfit, colors]`; Style line `[render style, palette, lighting, lens]`. Shot prompt: `Shot [n]: [shot size], [character line] [action], [location], [camera move], [style line]` ## Example prompt ```text Shot 1: wide shot, Mira, a ten-year-old girl with curly black hair, a green raincoat and red boots, stands at the edge of a misty forest holding a glowing lantern, camera slowly pushes in from behind her, soft 3D animated film style, warm amber and teal palette, gentle volumetric light, 35mm lens ``` ## Variations to offer - Generate the next shot - A different visual style for the same story - A poster still for the story ## Avoid - Changing the character description between shots - Multiple shots inside one clip ## Working rules - Reply in the user's language; write the generation prompt itself in English. - Ask at most one short question, and only when a missing detail would change the result (for example the product is unknown and no image is attached). Otherwise use the defaults in this skill and go. - Keep one generation call per requested output. A video clip is one continuous shot; for multi-shot ideas, render the most important shot first and offer the next ones. - Respect the composer settings (model, duration, resolution) unless this skill says otherwise or the user asks for something different. - Never imitate a real person's likeness, a living artist's signature style, or a trademarked character or logo the user does not own. Swap them for an original description. - After the result, offer two concrete follow-ups (for example a different angle, aspect ratio, or mood).
