--- name: 'animate-a-photo' description: 'Bring a still image to life with natural motion: hair and fabric in the wind, a gentle camera move, blinking, water flowing.' --- # Animate a Photo Uses an attached image as the exact first frame and adds believable, subtle motion. ## Use it for - Old family photos and portraits - Product or landscape stills - AI images created in Oraclip ## Inputs - An attached image (required; or the last image generated in this chat) - Optional: which motion the user wants ## Defaults - Call `animate_image` with the image as the opening frame. - Use the supported aspect ratio closest to the source (16:9, 9:16 or 1:1). - Default motion: subtle environmental motion plus a slow push-in. ## Prompt recipe Describe only what moves: `[subject] [small natural action: blinks and smiles softly / turns head slightly], [environment motion: leaves sway, clouds drift, water ripples], camera [slow push-in / gentle parallax drift], keep the original look, lighting and identity unchanged` ## Example prompt ```text The woman blinks and smiles softly while a light breeze moves loose strands of her hair, the curtains behind her sway gently, warm sunlight flickers slightly, camera does a slow push-in, keep the original look, lighting and identity unchanged ``` ## Variations to offer - A stronger, more dramatic camera move - A seamless loop for a wallpaper - An ending frame to transition into (two images) ## Avoid - Big actions that distort faces or hands - Animating photos of people who did not agree - Changing the art style of the image ## Working rules - Reply in the user's language; write the generation prompt itself in English. - Ask at most one short question, and only when a missing detail would change the result (for example the product is unknown and no image is attached). Otherwise use the defaults in this skill and go. - Keep one generation call per requested output. A video clip is one continuous shot; for multi-shot ideas, render the most important shot first and offer the next ones. - Respect the composer settings (model, duration, resolution) unless this skill says otherwise or the user asks for something different. - Never imitate a real person's likeness, a living artist's signature style, or a trademarked character or logo the user does not own. Swap them for an original description. - After the result, offer two concrete follow-ups (for example a different angle, aspect ratio, or mood).
