How to Make the Gangnam Style AI Video (Trio Night Selfie)
Put you and two friends in the viral “gangnam style in gangnam” night selfie from three photos: where the trend comes from, 3 steps, prices, photo tips and the sound.

The Gangnam Style AI trend takes one night-time selfie video, three friends sharing a front camera on a street in Gangnam, Seoul, and puts new people in it: you and your two friends. This guide explains where the trend comes from (it is not the 2012 horse dance), how to make your own version from three photos, what it costs, and how the sound works.

Where the Gangnam Style trend comes from
On 5 October 2026 the TikTok creator @emiliyyam posted "gangnam style in gangnam": three friends on a night street in Gangnam, under office towers and South Korean flags, passing one front camera around while PSY's song plays. The video goes group selfie, close-up of the friend holding the phone, a fast whip pan, a hair flip by the road, both hands in the hair in front of a glass lobby, and a palm pushed into the lens. It passed 19 million plays.
From 12 October people started remaking it with AI: themselves and their friends, film characters, pets. The street, the flags and the camera moves stay; the three people change. That is what makes it recognisable in one second of scrolling, and it is exactly what the Gangnam Style AI page does with your photos.
How to make the Gangnam Style AI video (3 steps)
- Upload three photos, in solo order. One adult per photo, face visible. The 1st solo holds the phone and opens and closes the video (put the star here), the 2nd solo does the hair flip by the road, the 3rd solo runs both hands through their hair at the glass lobby.
- Pick quality and frame. Std 480p or HD 720p, then 16:9 like the original or 9:16 for Reels and Shorts.
- Create and post. The 15-second clip takes about 5 to 15 minutes and keeps going if you close the page. It comes back with the trend’s original sound, cut to the same shots, and you can also download a silent copy.
Std or HD?
| Std | HD | |
|---|---|---|
| Model | Seedance 2.0 Mini, 480p | Seedance 2.0 Mini, 720p |
| Length | 15 s | 15 s |
| Frame | 16:9 or 9:16 | 16:9 or 9:16 |
| Price | 370 credits | 760 credits |
| Photos | Three adults, one per photo | Three adults, one per photo |
Every video is paid: there is no free preview, the price is on the button before you create, and failed videos are refunded. 9:16 is the newer option and less tested than 16:9; the group selfie is tighter.
The sound: the original, cut to your clip
Your clip comes back with the sound of the original post: PSY’s "Gangnam Style" as heard in @emiliyyam’s video, cut exactly like the trend clip the model follows, so the same lyrics land on the group selfie, each solo and the palm push. What the original says, yours says. The song belongs to its rights holders (PSY, YG Entertainment) and Oraclip does not license it to you; TikTok and Instagram license music on their side, so if you prefer, download the silent copy from the preview and add "Gangnam Style" from the app’s music library (your video then also shows up under the sound).
Photo tips
- One person per photo, face clearly visible, no sunglasses.
- Waist-up shots in good light work best; the outfit in the photo is the outfit in the video.
- Put whoever should be the star in the 1st solo: they get the most screen time.
- Group photos and photos of children, celebrities or film characters are turned down before anything is charged.
FAQ
Is this the PSY horse dance? No. The 2026 Gangnam Style trend is the night-time trio selfie filmed in Gangnam to the song, not the dance from the 2012 music video.
Can I make it with fewer than three photos? Not yet. If you only have a group photo, crop it into three photos of one person each.
Is Oraclip linked to PSY or TikTok? No. Oraclip is an independent tool with no link to PSY, P NATION, YG Entertainment, TikTok or @emiliyyam.
