Who is Bulin 47?
Bulin 47 is a Dominican dembow artist. Dembow is the fast, bouncing beat at the heart of Dominican street music, and freestyling over it on the spot is part of the culture.
The freestyle that started it
On 2 October 2026 the content creator Kevin Wai stopped Bulin 47 outside a restaurant in Spain. Kevin held up a round black speaker playing a dembow beat and filmed on his phone while a crowd gathered at the door, phones up. Bulin 47 freestyled straight into the camera, and the clip spread fast. The hook became the single "Dame Hombro", with an official video out on 8 October.
What does "dame hombro" mean?
Literally "give me shoulder". In the hook it is a call to bounce your shoulders to the beat with him: the shoulders move on their own when he is happy.
How it became an AI trend
| Date | What happened |
|---|---|
| 2 Oct | Kevin Wai posts the original street freestyle |
| 6 Oct | The first viral AI version: a cat in the freestyler's spot |
| 8 Oct | The official "Dame Hombro" video; selfie versions become the most copied edit |
| From 10 Oct | AI versions pass millions of plays; a second wave from 21 Oct |
The format works because only one thing changes. The red door, the man holding the speaker, the crowd filming and the sound stay put, so everyone recognises it instantly and the joke is just who is rapping.
How to make the Bulin 47 AI video
Upload one photo of yourself, a friend who agreed to it, or your pet on Bulin 47 AI, pick 10 or 15 seconds, and the page puts you in the freestyler's spot, set to a licensed dembow beat in the same style (not the official song).
